According to official sources, Nym has updated its node reward scheme. Nym gateway nodes will receive rewards in the new incentive system. It is reported that in order to further reward nodes that bear higher traffic loads and different operational risks, Nym will now compensate nodes based on the amount of work completed and proportionally reward their operational gateways. These rewards are supplements to the hourly rate of mixed mining and are designed to incentivize nodes to provide high performance, not just mixed or routing behavior.
