The January 14th data from Jinshi showed that small business confidence in the U.S. soared to the highest level in more than six years, continuing the post-election rally. Data from the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) showed that the optimism index for small businesses rose by 3.4 points to 105.1 last month, the highest level since October 2018. The November 5th U.S. general election gave the Republican Party control of the White House and Congress, and small business owners tend to support the Republican Party.
