Regarding the energy and shipping crisis caused by Iran’s blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, Kallas suggested adopting a model similar to the Black Sea Grain Initiative, using international mechanisms to ensure the safety of navigation through the strait. She mentioned that she has discussed this plan with the UN Secretary-General, and the UN is currently advancing related discussions.
