Democratic members of the United States House of Representatives have sent a request to Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent to review the activities of World Liberty Financial — a decentralized finance (DeFi) project believed to be connected to the Donald Trump family.

The lawmakers also expressed concerns about potential financial instability and questioned the level of commitment from the Treasury Department in addressing related issues.
