Cursor dropped 5 features this week. Anthropic dropped 4 more. i have not finished setting up the last thing i installed before the next thing dropped. my workflow is a construction site. every tool i use is mid-update. nothing is stable long enough to master. and tomorrow

everyone wants to work in AI. Ask about data and half the room goes quiet. Saw this play out with 100+ postgrad students recently. Every hand up for AI. A handful for data. Same pattern every time. We're drawn to what feels powerful. We overlook what actually creates that

Wednesday i'm just sitting here recalibrating.
The world didn't change this week.
My understanding of it did.

Anthropic dropped 4 more.
i have not finished setting up the last thing i installed before the next thing dropped.
my workflow is a construction site.
every tool i use is mid-update.
nothing is stable long enough to master.
and tomorrow there will be more.
i am begging. not as a critique. as a person.
please. one week. nothing.
let me catch up.
let me feel competent for 7 consecutive days.
that's all i'm asking.

Ape In 🚀
most people are using maybe 3 AI tools.
there are 12 that feel like actual superpowers.
writing + thinking:
→ writes like a human, thinks like an analyst
presentations:
→ slides that build themselves
image + creative:
→ removes anything from any photo
→ creative AI that actually looks good
→ turn photos into art styles
branding:
→ logo + brand identity in minutes
productivity:
→ your notes but they think for you
→ never run out of prompt ideas
video + 3D:
→ turn real objects into 3D models with your phone
→ face swap that's scary accurate
voice + meetings:
→ records and transcribes

AI agents in 2025: → remember too much → forget the thing that actually mattered → make the same mistake three times in a row → hallucinate with complete confidence → sometimes just.. loop forever And somehow still outperform most people on most tasks. That's not a

→ automate the boring ops layer
→ build the moat.. data, workflow, distribution
one person. unicorn scale.
that sentence used to sound delusional.
in 2026 it's just a Thursday.

the meta in 2026 isn't picking the best model.
it's knowing which one to open for which task.
what's yours?

"AI won't replace developers."
You're right.
Developers who use AI will.
The gap is already forming. It's just going to keep growing.

nobody planned this. it just happened. Candidates started using AI to write CVs. Recruiters started using AI to filter CVs. Now it's just two AIs talking to each other while humans wait to find out if they got the job. The CV didn't die. It got automated on both ends

this is what actually matters about TurboQuant. Not the benchmarks. Not the paper. The 16GB Mac Mini sitting on your desk just became a serious AI machine. 6x less memory. 8x faster. Zero accuracy loss. That's not an incremental improvement. That's the hardware barrier

they didn't kill Sora. The business model did. $10–15M burned per day on something people loved but wouldn't pay for. That's not a product. That's an expensive demo. This is the part most people are missing right now: -> Going viral is not a business model. -> Millions of
