Lol, any time I'm asked anything about my trading journey,it makes me laugh a bit, and I'm grateful I can actually laugh about it now,it wasn't funny then tho 😂

The truth is,my "eye opening" event in trading didn’t come from the chart it came from disappointments and I'm not even joking, for real.

There was a point I realized I was taking advice from people who looked successful online but had zero alignment with my journey. The flashy cars, fake confidence, loud win but no real structure. I wish I knew how empty they were earlier. It took a while but the truth finally caught up with one of them and I could see through the charade and that was the moment it hit me that I wasn’t trading,i was copying noise.

That day,I stopped following strangers and started following myself.

Rule I’ll never break again?
Impatience.!!!
Impatience is expensive. it has delt so much with me a million times over, It made me enter early, exit early, and then regret everything in between. over the years, I’ve learned that the market rewards those who can wait and punishes those who need action. Now, if a setup isn’t clean,I simply don’t exist lol,I disappear.

My most heartbreaking trade?
Easy. I still remember this like yesterday. The one where I knew the setup wasn’t complete but I entered anyway. I used my school fees for that trade and lost everything! tears and sorrows followed shortly after. 😂
The result? Loss!!!

But the real pain wasn’t the money it was knowing I betrayed my own rules. That trade upgraded me mentally. It taught me that discipline isn’t optional. It’s the strategy.

If I could go back to Day 1?
I’d tell myself this:
“Stop trying to trade like everyone. Study how the 1% successful traders actually trade.”
Because profitable traders don’t chase charts all day. They’re calm. Structured. Boring, even. and that’s the secret nobody tells you.

Consistency looks boring from the outside, but it’s powerful on the inside and at the end of the day, trading didn’t just teach me the market…
It taught me myself.
