I have a lot to learn but I am of the party that perps are 100% the next evolution of the game we play. It just makes sense.

Ive been spending most of my time learning about AMT (Auction Market Theory). I joined this guy's paid group (goat @bagsheera and @Indes_alt for always answering my questions)
Especially with the rise of tokenized equities/commodities, why do i need to buy some random coin if i can make money longing TSLA on some news? (though i will contune paying attnetion to onchain somehow as there will be random moonshots you can not get anywhere else. but spending all your time on the twitter monitor or wallet trackers have been are -ev.)
That being said the perps game is extremely extremely competitive though as it is "real-er" You are no longer competing against random fortnite 15 year olds on axiom. You are trading against ACTUAL traders on the books.
There are multiple ways to gain an edge; you can kill it with TA (as i am atleast trying to rn), you can be on top of news and narrative (very hard but @notthreadguy and his streams have been a nice view of how this game is played), you can also develop a natural feel through experience.
The third one trumps the first two by a mile. And if you can develop experience along with having TA/Narrative as an edge. You can log on and win forever. Not just for the bull market, forever.
Same as onchain, wasn't it so confusing once we all first got on pump and started looking at whatever was King of the hill or something (og's know)
Experience and skin in the game is the BEST way to gain an edge and compete.
So forget your gambling ways and return to order. return to discipline.
The time to sharpen your axe does not last forever. Soon we will have to start swinging again. Make sure your blade will be sharp enough to kill.
