It seems like the previous generation has a deeply ingrained belief that life can be planned. Choose the right major, enter the right industry, follow the right trend, and you can lock in a certain future.

Zhang Xuefeng took this logic to its extreme, becoming a life navigation guide for millions of families.

The whole thing is pretty absurd and laughable—having one person bet on the direction of the next several decades for millions of strangers' children who haven't even entered society yet.

Why are people so afraid of making the wrong choice? They'd rather spend money to let someone else make decisions for them than spend time figuring out who they are, what they want to do in the future, and what they actually like.

It's basically equivalent to paying someone to help you gamble. The result? Without even knowing yourself, you get pushed onto an assembly line. Then you compete desperately and climb frantically, thinking that reaching the top means freedom. But in the end, you blend in with the crowd and become an NPC.
