eBay Acquires Fashion Marketplace Depop From Etsy In $1.2B Deal
eBay is acquiring the fashion marketplace Depop from Etsy in a deal valued at approximately $1.2 billion, expected to close in Q2 2026. This acquisition aims to enhance eBay’s consumer-to-consumer (C2C) fashion initiatives and attract younger Gen Z shoppers in the UK and US markets.
