spent a few days in Iceland and here is my honest review:

pros
> the nature is amazing

cons
> the most mid experience possible. whatever is marketed as “premium” is actually the most basic shit ever
> food is not bad but never good. tried a fine dining spot too and was mid at best
> shops and restaurants are understaffed and extremely lazy
> 4 and 5 star hotels feel like 3 stars. laundry doesn’t work over Christmas (??)
> no matter how much you pay up you get treated like cattle
> no Uber just shitty local taxis

feel scammed everywhere, unlikely to ever come back
