Analyst Priyanka Sachdeva wrote in a report that the market is preparing for stricter oil sanctions, which could disrupt global supply. However, she said that the increase in oil prices may be limited due to the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip. She added that the easing of geopolitical pressure eliminates the need for additional ‘war premiums’ on oil prices.
