Jinshi Data, October 28th news, Citi lowered its Brent crude oil price expectation for the fourth quarter from $74 per barrel to $70 per barrel, because the attack by Israel on Iran bypassed oil facilities and caused chaos in crude oil futures. Citi analysts said, “Israel’s recent military actions are unlikely to be regarded by the market as escalating conflicts and affecting oil supplies, so we expect that the geopolitical risk premium in the crude oil market will be lower than our previous expectations based on our fundamental expectations.” Citi has raised the possibility of the occurrence of fundamental expectations from 60% to 70%, and lowered the possibility of Brent crude oil prices rising to $120 to 10%, because the high price of $120 requires a major event or situation that triggers oil supply issues.
