According to BCH News, the White House stated that US President Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu held a meeting on Wednesday. Vice President Harris also participated in the conference call. According to a US official familiar with the content of the call, most of the time was spent discussing Israel’s retaliatory plans against Iran, but there was also some discussion about Israel’s future actions against Hezbollah in Lebanon. Israel is currently weighing its response to last week’s missile attacks by Iran. The US officials familiar with the content of the call said that although Netanyahu did not propose a fully finalized plan for retaliation, members of the Biden administration were relatively satisfied with the level of detail shared by both sides and believed that the Israeli government accepted their argument to focus on striking conventional military targets rather than nuclear facilities or oil production bases.
