But on a truly decentralized network, it can actually be very cheap. Networks based on Rollups are great, like Taiko, but right now they are only a few. Hope more people migrate here. I think L1 can scale, not only can, but should scale, which will help eliminate all unnecessary L2s. The benefits of scaling the base layer are enormous.
