The Bitcoin ATM company is offering a 10% bearish on Bitcoin on Black Friday.
Athena Bitcoin, an American fintech company operating Bitcoin ATMs nationwide, is launching a promotion with a 10% discount on Bitcoin purchases on November 28, 2025, in celebration of Black Friday. Customers can redeem the offer at any Athena Bitcoin ATM using the promo code FRIDAY. The program aims to encourage giving Bitcoin as gifts during the holiday season, helping users introduce their loved ones to cryptocurrency or increase their current holdings, according to COO Carlos Carreno. Athena's ATMs are available in 34 states in America, Puerto Rico, and several countries in Central and South America.
Meanwhile, the Bitcoin ATM industry faces many challenges. Bitcoin Depot was fined 18.5 million USD due to faulty ATM hardware from its subsidiary BitAccess in Canada, which affected the operations of Cash Cloud. At the same time, Bitcoin ATMs are increasingly exploited by criminals, causing Americans to lose more than 100 million USD each year.
