According to a ChainCatcher report by Decrypt, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman stated that Meta is trying to attract OpenAI’s AI researchers by offering signing bonuses of up to $100 million and generous annual salaries, but currently, no employees have accepted these conditions. Nevertheless, Meta is still actively recruiting, including personal outreach to researchers by CEO Mark Zuckerberg. At the same time, the competition for talent in the artificial intelligence industry is becoming increasingly fierce, with salary levels continuously rising. Anthropic and Google’s DeepMind are leading in talent retention rates, while OpenAI is also striving to keep its top talent.
