Jin10 data reported on June 12 that diplomats attending a closed-door meeting said that the International Atomic Energy Agency’s Board of Governors, composed of 35 member states, passed a resolution on Thursday formally declaring that Iran has violated its nuclear non-proliferation obligations, marking the first time in nearly 20 years. “The Board found that Iran has failed to meet its obligations on multiple occasions since 2019, providing insufficient and untimely cooperation to the Agency regarding undeclared nuclear material and activities at several undeclared locations in Iran… constituting non-compliance with the obligations set out in the Agency’s safeguards agreements,” the text of the IAEA Board resolution stated.
