As of the close of the New York foreign exchange market, 1 euro exchanged for 1.1378 dollars, up from 1.1322 dollars the previous trading day; 1 pound exchanged for 1.3326 dollars, up from 1.3265 dollars the previous trading day. 1 dollar exchanged for 142.73 yen, down from 143.45 yen the previous trading day; 1 dollar exchanged for 0.8281 Swiss francs, down from 0.8297 Swiss francs the previous trading day; 1 dollar exchanged for 1.3861 Canadian dollars, down from 1.3887 Canadian dollars the previous trading day; 1 dollar exchanged for 9.5963 Swedish kronor, down from 9.7032 Swedish kronor the previous trading day.
