A Golden Finance report states that the Hong Kong Monetary Authority announced today a partnership with the Banco Central do Brasil to conduct cross-border tokenization experiments under the Ensemble project and the Drex pilot program. The experimental digital currency (CBDC) infrastructure of Banco Central will be connected (i.e. Ensemble sandbox and Drex test platform) to explore use cases in trade finance and voluntary emission reduction (carbon credit) areas, such as cross-border simultaneous delivery (PvP) and Delivery versus Payment (DvP) Liquidação. On the same day, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority announced a partnership with the Banco Central da Tailândia to jointly explore cross-border tokenization use cases under the Ensemble project and the San project.
