Abstract generation in progress

Grain Management is seeking FCC permission to expand the use of the 800 MHz band for satellite direct-to-device (D2D) services. The investment firm is in the process of acquiring these airwaves from T-Mobile, which originally obtained them through the Sprint acquisition. While the 800 MHz band is considered well-suited for satellite coverage, an analyst cautions about uncertain consumer demand for D2D services, suggesting that enterprise applications like utilities will be critical for profitability.
