The Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Zakharova, made a statement on the 28th, condemning the precision strikes on the heavy-water reactor in Khondab, Central Province, Iran, and on the uranium refining plant in Yazd Province on the 27th, as well as the subsequent shelling of the area around the Bushehr nuclear power plant. She said that these attacks should receive clear and firm condemnation by the international community. Zakharova urged the leadership of the International Atomic Energy Agency to make a clear statement, to send the invaders a signal: “You should stop; you have already crossed the red line.” She noted that the attacks on civilian nuclear facilities openly violate the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, the IAEA’s verification mechanisms, and regulations related to nuclear and facility security. Russia strongly condemns this destructive policy, and the attackers must stop immediately. (CCTV News)
