Their entire ecosystem has been calling for two years, yet everyone is still doing their own thing. It feels like the team’s daily focus is on writing reports to keep their jobs, rather than actually coding.
2⃣ Anthropic is like a cyber Puritan; their coding skills are indeed top-notch, but their moral squeamishness is also truly outrageous. Their risk control is extremely esoteric—pay for a membership and you can still be banned without warning. They adopt a noble stance of “use it if you like, if not, get out, don’t dirty my servers.”
3⃣ OpenAI is a big talker and a professional palace intriguer; their demo videos always blow the entire universe away. When asked about release dates, they always reply “in the coming weeks.” They’ve completely lost their own rhythm, relying entirely on watching competitors’ moves. As soon as a rival makes a move, they quickly release a semi-finished product to grab headlines. They talk about open source and AGI saving humanity, but in reality, they are honestly just working for Wall Street.
