Lixin Accounting Publishing House Editor-in-Chief awarded the 6th China Publishing Government Award

Recently, the National Press and Publication Administration issued the “Decision on Commendation of the Winning Publications, Publishing Entities, and Publishing Figures of the Sixth China Publishing Government Award” (Guoxin Chufa〔2026〕2), and Hu Chunrong, the President of Lixin Accounting Press, was honored with the “Outstanding Publishing Figure Award.”

The China Publishing Government Award is the highest government award in China’s news and publishing sector. This honor is a full recognition of Hu Chunrong’s 30-plus years of publishing career, and also an acknowledgment of Lixin Accounting Press’s achievements in academic publishing and digital transformation.

Hu Chunrong planned and led the advancement of major projects such as The Collected Compilation of Dunhuang Accounting Documents (10 volumes), systematically excavating historical accounting materials from ancient China and filling a gap in the research on the history of ancient Chinese accounting; serving the frontiers of science and technology, she organized and planned book series such as the “Digital Financial Security Publishing Project” guided by academicians and the “Environmental Resources Accounting Series”; carrying forward red culture by deeply integrating professional publishing with theme-based publishing, she planned works including Love for the People — Zou Tuo-fen’s People-First Sentiments and Benefit the World and Save the People — Pan Xulun, the Father of Modern Chinese Accounting, and His Feelings for Country and People. Among them, Love for the People — Zou Tuo-fen’s People-First Sentiments was rated as a “Good Book in Shanghai” in 2024.

Hu Chunrong has also actively promoted the digital transformation of finance-and-economics textbooks. She has advanced the construction of the “Caijie” digital textbook AI learning platform, building a knowledge service system centered on digital textbooks and integrated with printed textbooks, online courses, interactive practical training, and virtual scenario coordination, thereby helping traditional finance-and-accounting textbooks achieve a “smart” rebirth and laying a solid foundation for Lixin Accounting Press to realize digital transformation.
