ME News message, on March 31 (UTC+8), Interactive Brokers (IBKR) announced that it will open crypto-asset trading to eligible retail investors across the European Economic Area through its Irish subsidiary. Users can trade, all on the existing platform and alongside stocks, options, futures, foreign exchange, bonds, funds, and others, 11 major crypto assets including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, XRP, and Dogecoin. The service supports trading 24/7, charges approximately 0.12%-0.18% commission based on the transaction amount, with no markups for spreads or custody fees, and supports limit orders.
