IEA Monthly Report: Russia's January oil and fuel export revenue rose to $15.8 billion
On February 13, the Jinshi Data reported that the International Energy Agency stated on Thursday that despite sanctions, due to stable oil prices pump and export volumes, Russia’s commercial revenue from crude oil and petroleum product sales in January increased by $900 million from December last year to $15.8 billion. The International Energy Agency stated in its report, “New sanctions against Russia and Iran by the United States disrupted the market at the beginning of the year, but they have not had a substantial impact on global oil supply. Iran’s crude oil exports have only slightly decreased, while Russia’s crude oil exports have not been significantly affected so far.” According to the International Energy Agency’s data, Russia’s crude oil and petroleum product exports last month were roughly on par with December, at around 7.4 million barrels per day, with crude oil supply increasing by 100,000 barrels per day to 4.6 million barrels per day. The agency also stated that last month, the selling price of all Russian oil was above the Western-imposed price cap of $60 per barrel.
