The ruling party in South Korea files a lawsuit against Han Dae-soo's impeachment case.

On December 27th, Jinshi Data News, the ruling party of South Korea, the National Power Party, raised a dispute over the authority of the impeachment case against the acting president and applied for the suspension of effectiveness. On the same day, the South Korean National Assembly passed the impeachment case against the acting president Han Dezhao with 192 votes in favor. Han Dezhao subsequently stated that he respects the decision of the National Assembly and will suspend his duties to await a prompt and wise judgment from the Constitutional Court. However, Kwang Sung-dong, the acting leader of the ruling party, the National Power Party, stated that the vote on the impeachment case against the acting president exercising presidential authority, Han Dezhao, was not valid and completely invalid.
