On November 8th, according to FOX Business, Republican SEC Commissioner Mark Uyeda hopes to help President-elect Trump fulfill his promise to end the ‘Cryptocurrency War’ with the Biden administration. It is reported that Mark Uyeda has been serving on the committee since 2022 and is likely to become acting chairman after Trump takes office in January. He told FOX Business that one of the forward directions of this agency under Trump’s leadership is to suspend new enforcement actions against unregistered companies until some clear rules are formulated. Mark Uyeda said: ‘The committee’s war on Cryptocurrency must end, including enforcement actions against Cryptocurrency based solely on failure to register without fraud or harm charges. President Trump and American voters have sent a clear message. Starting in 2025, the SEC’s responsibility is to carry out this task.’
