In one of the events, Harris once again avoided mentioning the name of her Republican opponent and instead referred to Trump as ‘the other person’. ‘I am very different from the other person, and everyone knows that. That’s why you’re here helping us win votes,’ Harris said. Harris said that the division in contemporary American politics ‘makes people feel lonely’. ‘So, I’ve been thinking about our campaign activities in the next 24 hours, when we vote, when we campaign, let’s consciously build communities, build alliances, and remind people that we all have more in common than what separates us.’
