Russian UN envoy calls on Germany to share investigation into 'Nord Stream' pipeline damage

On August 21st, Jinshi data reported that on August 20th local time, Dmitry Polyanskiy, the temporary charge d’affaires of the Russian Permanent Mission to the United Nations, called on Germany to share its investigation into the damage of the Nord Stream pipeline. Polyanskiy once again expressed doubt about reports that a Ukrainian group had damaged the Nord Stream pipeline, calling it a “plot that only Hollywood movies could have.” Polyanskiy said in response to a question from a reporter that Russia intends to once again request an open meeting of the Security Council to discuss the Nord Stream pipeline damage incident and call for an international investigation, submitting a draft resolution to the Security Council on the relevant issues again.
