Ripple: Korea's Hanyang University applies ZKP to enhance CBDC Anonymity and AML measures

Golden Finance reported that Ripple posted on X platform that Professor Hyunok Oh of Hanyang University in Seoul, South Korea, discussed the latest progress of Zero-Knowledge Proof and the university’s blockchain research program. It is reported that in the financial field, Professor Hyunok Oh’s team has applied ZKP to enhance the Anonymity and Anti-Money Laundering measures of Central Bank Digital Money (CBDC). One of their laboratory projects, Harisa, is an efficient membership proof designed to accelerate the generation of ZKP proofs.
