According to BCH News, although the review process has just begun, a senior government official said that Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro and Arizona Senator Mark Kelly are the main candidates for Harris’ running mate. Both come from key battleground states in the 2024 election and have experience defeating Trump-supported candidates. Shapiro, 51, served as Attorney General of Pennsylvania before being elected governor in 2022 by defeating Republican Doug Mastriano. Kelly, 60, defeated Republican challenger Blake Masters in 2022 and won a Senate seat.
