US consumer confidence drops, economic outlook weakens

On June 25th, Jinshi data reported that as Americans’ expectations for the economic outlook worsened, US consumer confidence declined this month. The Conference Board Consumer Confidence Index for June fell from a revised 101.3 in May to 100.4. The median expectation of economists was 100. The index for future expectations in June fell by nearly 2 points to 73 for the next six months, while the current situation index rose from the revised May index.
