BlockBeats reports that on November 6th, according to official TRON (Wave Field) sources, the mainnet is expected to release the GreatVoyage-v4.8.1 (Democritus) version in November 2025. This upgrade will introduce several key improvements aimed at further enhancing system compatibility, network performance, and overall stability, laying a solid foundation for the long-term evolution of the TRON mainnet.
According to official technical documentation, the GreatVoyage-v4.8.1 version includes support for ARM architecture and JDK 17, expanding the system’s operating environment. It also addresses compatibility with changes to the SELFDESTRUCT instruction in the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) to continuously improve EVM consistency.
Additionally, this upgrade features network node optimization, API performance enhancements, security updates, and database performance adjustments, collectively significantly improving mainnet efficiency and node synchronization stability.
