The large crypto whale has moved again.

Recently, one of the most talked-about accounts among the whales that have emerged and have been selling their Bitcoin, which they haven't touched for years, seems to have started selling again after two weeks.

The whale, which started buying Bitcoin in 2016 and converted billions of dollars from Bitcoin to Ether for the first time in a long time on August 20, (2025), has become active again after September 1.

According to the information provided by Lookonchain, two addresses linked to this whale's main account sent 1176 BTC worth approximately 136 million dollars to the Hyperliquid platform yesterday. It will be remembered that this whale sold about 36,000 BTC and bought more than 885,000 ETH in return.

###This year the numbers increased

Especially, the large sales of old Bitcoin whales have started to increase this year. The most notable among them was a whale that hadn't touched its approximately 80,000 BTC since 2011 and sold all of its Bitcoins in July. This whale, which made the sales through Galaxy Digital, had obtained around 10 billion dollars.

Last week, a former Bitcoin whale moved for the first time in 13 years and transferred 445 Bitcoins worth approximately 50 million dollars to a new wallet. This whale also sold 5 BTC through Kraken.

Despite the whale sales, there has been no change in Bitcoin's level of 116 thousand dollars.
