He pointed out that Bitcoin’s decline is the result of multiple trends working together, including Wall Street changing Bitcoin’s game rules. As Bitcoin is integrated into the traditional financial system, some early holders are exiting. However, Bitcoin’s risk is also much lower than any period in history, and its decentralization already spans from individual retail investors to large financial institutions, having proven its resilience through multiple economic crises. That said, lower risk also leads to lower returns. While Bitcoin is expected to continue outperforming stock indices over the next decade, it will not repeat the compound annual growth rates of over 80% from the past. Anthony Pompliano also disclosed that he personally increased his Bitcoin holdings in 2025 and cited Charlie Munger’s quote: “Huge wealth comes from waiting, not from trading.”
