Announcement Regarding the Optimization of 3x ETF Leveraged Token Rebalancing Rules

To enhance the trading experience and optimize product performance, Gate will upgrade the rebalancing rules for 3x ETF leveraged tokens on April 1, 2025, at 16:00:00 (UTC) .

The update includes adjustments to the trigger conditions for Regular Rebalancing and Irregular Rebalancing, target leverage ratios, and NAV calculation rules. Users are advised to carefully review these changes and manage their positions accordingly.

Details of the Rule Adjustments

Regular Rebalancing (Daily at 00:00 UTC+8)	Triggered when the real-time leverage ratio is below 1.8x or above 3x, or if the underlying asset price fluctuates by more than 1% (based on Futures contract index price).	Triggered when the real-time leverage ratio is below 2x or above 4x, or if the underlying asset price fluctuates by more than 1% (based on Futures contract index price).
Target Leverage Ratio	Adjusted to 2.3x	Adjusted to 3x
Irregular Rebalancing	Triggered when the real-time leverage ratio exceeds 3x, or when price fluctuation since the last rebalancing point reaches ±20%.	Triggered when the real-time leverage ratio exceeds 4x

NAV Calculation	3x ETF leveraged token NAV = Previous rebalancing NAV × （1 + Underlying asset Change × 2.3）	3x ETF leveraged token NAV = Previous rebalancing NAV × （1 + Underlying asset Change × 3）

Implementation Schedule

The rule switch will take place at 16:00:00 (UTC) on April 1, 2025 :

• If a Regular Rebalancing is triggered at this time, the new rules will be applied immediately.
• If the rebalancing conditions are not met at this time, the platform will conduct a one-time rebalancing based on the new rules, after which all future rebalancing events will follow the updated mechanism.
