Golden Finance reported that Crypto.com today received a limited license from the Virtual Asset Regulatory Authority (VARA) of Dubai, allowing it to provide derivatives trading services in the UAE.
This license will enable Crypto.com to launch Derivatives products such as futures contracts, perpetual swap contracts, and contracts for difference (CFD) in regional markets. The company plans to first offer these products to qualified institutions globally, followed by providing services to eligible investors. The license also provides a USD fiat channel for Crypto.com retail users, allowing users to deposit and withdraw USD through Standard Chartered Bank.
