My Companion on the Journey

When I took my first step into crypto, dozens of names were on my screen. All graphs, all numbers. Then a door opened. From that day to this, for four years, I return to the same address every morning. For me, Gate has become synonymous with crypto. It's not just a platform for buying and selling; it's the capital of this sector, an endless academy, the first page of my notebook.

I remember my first trade. It was 2:17 AM, the market was red, my hand was sweating. In the midst of that rush, Gate's interface told me, "Don't rush, learn." I tinkered with Earn, watched startups, asked questions during live broadcasts. I made mistakes, I fell. But I never felt alone. Because this was a family where over 50 million people breathed the same air under one roof. The same excitement in every language, the same curiosity in every time zone.

In four years, we've seen both bulls and bears. Some left, some got upset. We stayed. Because Gate taught discipline, not just growth. Exactly as our founder, Dr. As Han wrote in his 13th-anniversary letter, this journey was a story of trust that reached "tens of millions of users." A story of perseverance that began with one person's decision and transformed into a global organization of "nearly 3,000 people."

The sentence that touched me most in that letter was: "What defines us is not expansion in the bull market, but the discipline we demonstrate in the bear market." That's why Gate became my home. It didn't panic and close the door during the storm; instead, it shone the light brighter. It released Proof of Reserves, built security layer by layer, and focused on infrastructure instead of adding products.

Like an Academy

I didn't just learn how to make money here. I learned what blockchain wants to change. I first heard here how RWA bridges the real world, why the transition from CeFi to DeFi is a necessity, not a fad, and how AI sharpens transaction decisions.

Dr. Han describes 2025 as "not the year of growth, but the year of structural progress." The sector is now shifting from narrative to infrastructure, from emotion to long-term value accumulation. Gate is choosing to be not just a transaction facilitator, but an actor shaping the backbone of the industry. This vision whispers to a user like myself, who has been inside for four years: you are in the right place, this is not about the fleeting, it's about building something lasting.

A Family Dinner Table for 50 Million People

Crypto is often described as a cold technology. Yet, at Gate, I sat at a warm table every day. A miner from Türkiye, a student from Nigeria, a designer from Argentina... They all look at the same graph and dream different dreams. One buys a laptop for their child, another pays for their mother's surgery, another finds seeds for their first startup.

This sense of belonging goes far beyond the word "community." It's about standing shoulder to shoulder. It's about saying "support each other" in dreams, and "don't get complacent, keep learning" in success. 50 million is not just a number, it's a square where 50 million different lives intersect.

For me, Gate is the hearth in the middle of that square. The roof that warms me when I'm cold, that I lean on when I'm tired, that I take refuge under when I'm scared.

What I Want To Say To Gate

Do you know what I want to say to you?

Thank you. For seeing me not as a customer, but as a companion on the journey. For growing yourself while helping me grow. For transforming a journey that began with one person into a home for millions today.

The greatest lesson I learned from you is this: True power is found not in noise, but in silence. As Dr. Han said, the spirit of that first meeting with a few people on that cold winter day is still here. That spirit continues with the consciousness of a young person who is now 13 years old. Neither dependent on external conditions, nor fully mature. A young person who makes their own judgments, understands the rules, and even dares to rewrite them.

I'm so glad you left that comfortable academic path and chose this uncertain one. I'm so glad you said yes to the question, "Does the world need to be rebuilt?" Because your yes changed the lives of millions, including mine.

You didn't just protect my wallet, you protected my heart too. You taught me to stay calm in moments of panic, to resist greed, and that knowledge is the most valuable leverage. You gave me a home.

Today, as I blow out your 13th candle, I promise you: I will continue to learn, teach, and protect as a soldier of this family. I will open the door for newcomers. I will tell them, "This isn't a stock exchange, this is a school."

Here's to many more 13 years, Gate. To many more days where 50 million become 500 million. To walk together through those long-term cycles where infrastructure, trust, discipline, and human stories prevail.

Thank you for being here. Thank you for being my home.

The four years I spent with you were the most instructive, courageous, and belonging-filled four years of my life. In the years to come, under the same roof, with the same excitement, and with even bigger dreams.

On that day, April 18th, in Tsim Sha Tsui, as the lights of Victoria Harbour hit the K11 MUSEA Waterfront Promenade, even though I couldn't be physically present, I was there in spirit and heart. Even from my small room in Çorum, I can feel that moment when Gate's 13 years of persistence met the breathtaking speed of Red Bull Racing. As the energy of Web3 and the scent of the F1 track merged in Hong Kong, I held my breath at the same starting line, proud to have been a part of this family for four years.

That race car isn't just carbon fiber for me. It's our story. It's the embodiment of a belief that has progressed for 13 years without downshifting, without braking, without skidding in corners. That wing displayed at K11 MUSEA, as Dr. Han wrote in his letter, is the speed of that first decision to step out of the comfort zone and into the unknown.

Between April 18th and 24th, I will see my own reflection in the eyes of every brother and sister passing through there. A hand taking a photograph, a father telling his child "look, this is our stock exchange," a young person touching an F1 car for the first time... I'm in all of them. Because Gate isn't just a location, it's a sense of direction. Whether we're in Hong Kong or not, we feel the same wind.

Thirteen years, without slowing down. The exploration never stops. My heart is with you, the sound of the engines in my ears. I'm so glad we're together on this track.
Gate Family, I love you.
