I just reviewed an interesting ranking of the top 20 most important currencies in the world, and honestly I didn't know that the Kuwaiti Dinar was the strongest globally. I'm quite surprised because usually people think of the US dollar or the euro as the most powerful, but it seems there's a whole hierarchy I was unaware of. The Bahraini Dinar and the Omani Rial are also high up, along with the British Pound and the Swiss Franc. Then comes the US dollar in ninth place, followed by the Canadian dollar, the Singapore dollar... a whole variety of currencies that we probably use less in daily life but have incredible value in international markets. What's interesting is to see how the Brazilian Real is in 20th place on this ranking of the 20 most important currencies. I didn't realize the classification was so specific. Does anyone else find these facts surprising, or is it just me?
