Wednesday Night, April 8: Latest Ideas and Strategies for Bitcoin and Ethereum
The highest level of investing is simplicity. A single effective move can sometimes be more powerful than eighteen different skills mastered. Because it’s simple, it’s firm; because it’s firm, it’s powerful. Looking back at early Wednesday morning, influenced by Iran accepting a ceasefire agreement, Bitcoin and Ethereum experienced synchronized continuous rises. Bitcoin surged from a low of around 67,732 to break through the high of 72,761 before pulling back. Ethereum rose from a low of 2,077 to a high of 2,273 before pulling back. The short-selling idea at 3 a.m. yielded 394 points for Bitcoin and 24 points for Ethereum. Following the bullish trend in the morning, decisively entering long positions—students holding around 69,000—sold all the way up to 72,000, netting a total of 3,000 points. Long positions on Ethereum from 2,113 to 2,260 resulted in a total gain of 147 points. It’s not that the crypto market lacks oil or momentum; it’s that you chose the wrong direction, followed the wrong people. Follow Ma Ge’s guidance, and every day you open your eyes is the start of making money.
Based on the current market, although the daily chart shows a large bullish candle, there is an upper shadow pressing against the upper Bollinger Band, and after digesting the news, the bullish momentum shows signs of exhaustion. The four-hour chart indicates that after reaching a high of 72,773, Bitcoin has consecutively formed stagnation candles with obvious upper shadows, suggesting increasing selling pressure above. This pattern often signals a short-term top. The MACD has a death cross downward, indicating that the bears are in control. The hourly chart shows sideways consolidation at high levels with diminishing bullish momentum; the upward trend appears tired. Ma Ge’s strategy is to wait for a rebound near resistance levels to set up short positions.
Wednesday Night Strategy:
Bitcoin: Short around 72,000. Target 71,000
Ethereum: Short around 2,280. Target 2,180
