Vitalik Buterin Urges Not to Trust AI in Managing Crypto Wallets

Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin stated that next-generation crypto wallets are likely to be closely integrated with artificial intelligence systems.

However, he noted that language models should not be fully trusted to manage large transactions or significant amounts of funds.

Buterin described a possible model for such wallets: AI suggests an action plan to the user, a local lightweight network client simulates transactions, after which the user sees the expected result and manually confirms the operation.

In his opinion, this approach could significantly reduce risks. In particular, abandoning dApp interfaces can eliminate many common attack vectors related to theft of funds and data leaks.
