NATO conducts large-scale military exercises along the Baltic coast in Germany

On the 18th local time, NATO launched a large-scale military exercise along the Baltic coast in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, including amphibious landing operations. The participating troops conducted landings near the Puttlos training ground. The exercise, codenamed “Steadfast Dagger-2026,” is NATO’s largest military drill of the year, involving approximately 10,000 soldiers from 13 countries, with over 1,500 vehicles and 17 ships. The focus of the exercise is to demonstrate how to rapidly deploy troops from Southern Europe to NATO’s eastern flank. The United States did not directly participate in this exercise. (CCTV News)
