On Wednesday, February 18, Eastern Time, the three major U.S. stock indices closed higher across the board, with the S&P 500 up 0.56% at 6,881.31; the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 0.26% at 49,662.66; and the Nasdaq Composite up 0.78% at 22,753.63.

On February 18, the benchmark 10-year U.S. Treasury yield was 4.09%, and the yield on the 2-year U.S. Treasury, most sensitive to Federal Reserve policy rates, was 3.47%.
