China Railway Shanghai Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Shanghai Railway Group) announced that on February 22nd, the sixth day of the Lunar New Year and the eighth day of the Spring Festival holiday, the Yangtze River Delta railway experienced a peak in return passenger flow. In recent days, the return passenger flow during the Spring Festival travel period in the Yangtze River Delta has continued to grow. On February 21st, 2.913 million passengers were dispatched, an increase of 18.3% year-on-year, and on February 22nd, an estimated 3.19 million passengers will be dispatched, a 15.3% increase year-on-year. Since the start of this year’s Spring Festival travel period, a total of 51.893 million passengers have been dispatched as of February 21st, with an average of approximately 2.595 million passengers per day.
