Stock trading isn't difficult; getting rich quickly is very hard.

Abstract generation in progress

Based on an annualized return of 10%, the annual earnings for different principal investments are as follows:
• 100,000 yuan principal, earning 10,000 yuan per year;
• 500,000 yuan principal, earning 50,000 yuan per year;
• 1 million yuan principal, earning 100,000 yuan per year;
• 5 million yuan principal, earning 500,000 yuan per year;
• 10 million yuan principal, earning 1 million yuan per year;
• 50 million yuan principal, earning 5 million yuan per year;
• 100 million yuan principal, earning 10 million yuan per year.
Everyone is encouraged to consider their own financial situation and estimate the annual investment gains.
Some may feel a sense of regret: even with 100,000 yuan in principal, earning only 10,000 yuan a year, in a bull market, everyone is a stock god, and these returns seem modest. However, from another perspective, if you are a newcomer just entering the workforce and have painstakingly saved 100,000 yuan, you can earn an extra 10,000 yuan annually compared to your colleagues; if you have been working for 10 years and have successfully saved 1 million yuan, you can earn 100,000 yuan more than your colleagues each year. Assuming your annual salary is 400,000 yuan, plus this extra 100,000 yuan, and your family expenses are 300,000 yuan per year, you can save 200,000 yuan, while your colleagues can only save 100,000 yuan. The advantage is obvious. In this way, investment returns are quite substantial, aren’t they?
If your investment return rate can increase to 15% or even 20%, the difference in gains will become even more significant.
The savings from your salary and the returns from investments can be continuously reinvested as stock trading capital. For example, if last year you had 1 million yuan in principal and earned 100,000 yuan, this year your principal increases to 1.1 million yuan. If you save an additional 100,000 yuan from your salary, your principal this year will reach 1.2 million yuan. With this scale of principal, stock trading gains could reach 120,000 yuan, meaning you earn 120,000 yuan more than your colleagues.
As the principal continues to grow, when investment returns surpass your salary income, or even multiple times it, full-time investing and achieving financial freedom will no longer be a distant dream.
However, expecting to get rich overnight through a single bull market is as difficult as ascending to heaven.
I come from an ordinary small-town family with no background. Back in the day (and now, I’m not doing so well, so I think about the past), I was admitted to Xiamen University with a score exceeding the Tsinghua cutoff by over ten points. In my career, due to repeatedly refusing unreasonable work arrangements from my superiors, my career development did not go as smoothly as expected. I worked as a programmer for 7 years and then spent 12 years in project management, essentially working as a clerk for most of my life. Fortunately, the stock market is like the college entrance exam—relatively fair, testing intelligence, judgment, and learning ability. It was through over a decade of salary accumulation and investment gains that I finally started my professional investing journey in the past two years.
Stock trading itself is not difficult; the real challenge is trying to get rich quickly through it. If you view investment returns as a supplement beyond your salary, your mindset will become more stable and healthy.
Finally, I sincerely wish everyone smooth work, successful investments, and everything going smoothly.
