Guide on how to clear browser cache on popular platforms

Cache and cookies store temporary data from the websites you visit. However, over time, this data can take up space on your computer, affect browsing speed, or cause privacy issues. The following article provides detailed instructions on how to clear browser cache on the five most popular browsers: Google Chrome, Firefox, Brave, Microsoft Edge Chromium, and Safari.

Important Notes When Clearing Browser Data

  • Regularly: You should clear your browser cache at least once a month
  • Saved passwords: Be careful when clearing — sometimes deleting cookies can also delete saved passwords
  • Choose the time range: You don’t need to clear everything; you can select data from the past hour or day
  • Auto-clear: Most browsers support auto-clear features when you close the browser — enable this to save time

Now that you know how to clear browser cache across different platforms, maintaining browser performance and security will become easier.
