On February 20th local time, the three major U.S. stock indices all closed higher, with the Nasdaq up 0.9%, gaining 1.51% this week; the S&P 500 rose 0.69%, up 1.07% this week; and the Dow Jones increased 0.47%, up 0.25% this week. Large-cap technology stocks mostly rose, with Google up over 4%, Netflix and Amazon up over 2%, Apple, Nvidia, and Meta up over 1%, and Tesla slightly higher; Microsoft saw a slight decline.
