Foxconn New Energy Vehicle R&D Center in Zheng begins operation "3+3+3" strategy accelerates implementation

Foxconn New Energy Vehicle R&D Center officially opened in Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone on February 4. This center is Foxconn’s first new energy vehicle R&D center in mainland China and is one of the core projects of its “3+3+3” strategy. Li Guangyao, General Manager of Foxconn New Energy Vehicle Industry Development (Henan) Co., Ltd., stated that the goal of the base is to become an innovation engine integrating intelligence, automation, high quality, and high efficiency, forming development capabilities covering the full spectrum of products, and building an efficient industrial ecosystem through digital R&D, smart factories, and supply chain collaboration. A relevant person in charge of the Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone Management Committee said that Foxconn’s cooperation with Henan is a win-win model of “big enterprise and big province.” Since settling in 2010, Foxconn has made significant contributions to the development of Henan’s electronic information industry.
