On New Year’s Eve, users can not only watch the live broadcast of the Spring Festival Gala on Bilibili but also interact through real-time bullet comments. Bilibili stated that this year it will increase technological investments to ensure a significantly improved bullet comment experience compared to last year.
Starting from the eve of the Spring Festival, users can also create their own interest rooms on Bilibili to watch exclusive Spring Festival content with friends who share similar interests and participate in discussions about the Gala programs. According to statistics, last New Year’s Eve, over 100 million people watched the Spring Festival Gala live on Bilibili, with 83% being under 30 years old. Bilibili’s co-created program with the Spring Festival Gala, “Spring Red Envelope,” has been viewed over 1 billion times across the internet, making it the second most-watched Spring Festival Gala program overseas and one of the most popular among young audiences. On Bilibili, besides watching the Gala live and discussing the programs, young people continue to create Spring Festival Gala content, extending the event’s popularity throughout the year. After the 2025 Spring Festival Gala replay was uploaded to Bilibili, it surpassed 300 million views, and secondary creative content related to the Gala has exceeded 2.54 billion views, spawning a number of works with tens of millions of views.
