Why isn't Ethereum probing 1740? Just look at the news, and you'll be the one getting harvested like a leek!
The master of position flipping gets straight to the core: It's not that it can't break, the time just hasn't come; structure is king, news is just dog poop!
Yesterday, the entire internet was full of bad news, yet ETH refused to fall. Countless leeks chased shorts below 1950 in a frenzy, now they are all trapped. Why? Because you only look at the news and don't understand the trend and structure!
The low before 1740 has not been broken for a long time, it's not that it can't fall, but the main force is just grinding time and shaking out chips. Big funds don't want a sharp drop; they want to lure all the shorts into the market, shake out all the bottom-fishing funds, and then smash through support at the lowest cost.
Yesterday's refusal to fall on bad news is a typical trap to shake out the shorts: news scares out panic sellers, but the market refuses to drop sharply, making short sellers think they are guaranteed to win, so they keep adding to their shorts and not stop-lossing.
